World Spay Day 2013

Every February, Patrick creates a strip to spread the word about World Spay Day, which brings awareness to the importance of spaying and neutering companion animals. This year, his strip will run on Tuesday, February 26.

The Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International say, “World Spay Day shines a spotlight on spay/neuter as a proven means of saving the lives of companion animals, feral cats, and street dogs around the globe.”

You can help organize your own events to spread the word. Consider hosting a potluck dinner, fund raiser, or a volunteer day at your local animal shelter. And of course, make sure you do the right thing for your own cats and dogs and have them spayed and/or neutered.

The kindest and best thing you can ever do is to spay or neuter your beloved dog or cat.
Their lives will be so much better for it and it will save the lives of thousands of unborn from being just that never born.
Millions of animals are destroyed in shelters or die living miserable short painful lives.

SPAY/ NEUTER FOR ALL, YESH!!!

Make a donation to your local shelter to help defray the costs of Spay Day!
If your employer has one of those “dress down” jeans are ok days for a donation to charity ask that the local shelter be the benificiary this week!

We help our shelter eery year with the program and it’s a great felling knowing we are preventing the suffering of more and more animals.

I preach spay and neuter every day of the year. Volunteering with a rescue and visiting shelters on a constant basis makes you tell everyone you meet that owns a pet or everyone you meet in the cat/dog food isle of a store.

This is such an important act of love for your pet. They live longer and happier lives, and you will enjoy them a whole lot more. So remember to love your pet enough to spay or neuter them as soon as they are age and weight eligable.

Spay Day is an amazingly good idea that is crucial to animal wellbeing. A while ago, we joined the Hero for Animals program at the Humane Society of the United States, that helps support Spay Day. Thanks for all you do, Patrick, for all animals.

I read in a book about Dogtown that neutered animals live longer.
