Interview With the Mutts comic guy, Eckhart Tolle's co-creator of 'Guardians'

Patrick was recently interviewed by David Crumm for Read the Spirit. The two discussed life, art, and the new book, Guardians of Being. We're confident that you'll enjoy reading the complete interview.

In it, David says:
I know this: "Guardians of Being" is going to be a hit. I've been toting a review copy around with me and I've seen people respond eagerly to this lovely book. Why? Because Patrick McDonnell selected very brief excerpts from Tolle's work and then illustrated them with colorful comics—and the result is magical.

Thanks David, your work is legendary, and we love the interview!

How can I get a print or 2 of some of the art from Guardian of Being?

I apologize for posting a response not on topic to the original posting but don't know a better way to ask.

The appearance of Popeye in the comic strip on Tuesday happened to be the anniversary of E C Segar's death, and it seemed at first to be a slightly odd date to commemorate. But then the appearance of Popeye the next day, and Betty Boop on Thursday, seem to suggest that it wasn't meant as any sort of commemoration of anything besides classic comic strip/cartoon stars.

Was Popeye's appearance on Tuesday a coincidence or was it meant to mean something?

Thank you for your time and bother.

I cut out the 10/4 comic strip and gave to friend who had had surgery. She is a very spiritual person and said receiving it "made her day."
Thank you.
